Vintage 1950s Black Silk Chiffon Dress 50s Glamorous Marilyn Style Cocktail Dress Full Skirt Size 8M 28W

DESCRIPTION:
Flowing black silk chiffon, silk satin waist and shelf bust with ruched chiffon straps. Sexy V-back with metal zip. Bodice lined in a semi stiff cotton for structure. Skirt is lined in black rayon.

CONDITION: Over all excellent! There are a few small snags in the chiffon which is normal for this type of fabric. A small tear in the hem of the fabric that gets easily lost in the fullness and it looks like there was a pin attached at the front waist at some point, not original but likely added at some point. The dress had also been taken in by the previous owner in the bodice and I have returned it to it's original size, there are some faint stitch marks remaining.
